My new favorite coffeemaking method is French Press, but I found it makes great tea, too. A couple of heaping tablespoons of loose tea or herbs makes a quart of hot or cold tea in 5 minutes.
In the evenings I like to make what we call our Doublemint Tea, a heaping spoonful each of dried Spearmint and Peppermint leaves which we get from sfherb.com. It tastes great, needs no sweetening (for me) and has no caffeine.
