365 Project #308 Cactus Rocks

I saw these cactus-painted rocks and just had to try them out. It's quite a process, choosing the rocks for size and shape, washing and drying them, painting and sealing, grinding the bases flat and epoxying them to a base. Then prepping the pots involved filling them will Plaster of Paris and making sure the surface is level. Then the rocks are glued into the pot and the surface painted a neutral beige color. Finish with some dirt and pebbles and then we're done!

Later I decided to put flowers on one plant per each pot, pics to follow...

The largest pot is a commission and hopefully the others will sell.
