365 Project #185 Gesso

Gesso is a paint mixture used to prepare a surface for painting. It provides 'tooth', a stable and matte surface and a buffer between the surface and the paint.

Applying gesso to my 12"x12" panels this evening, white first and then black, so I can start playing with some ideas tomorrow. In the meantime, I forgot to change clothes so now I have some 'gesso pants'. Perhaps tomorrow I'll touch them up with black.
