This is pretty much my favorite winter breakfast. Actually I skip breakfast and go straight to lunch. This oatmeal with an apple lasts me 'til dinnertime. Simple recipe, wonderful flavor. Oh, and all those "1 Tb."s? They're very generous. Yum.
FAVORITE OATMEAL
1/2 cup oats
1 cup water
1 Tb. butter
1 Tb. mixed dried fruit
1 Tb. walnut pieces
1 Tb. pecan pieces
1Tb. pumpkin seeds
Microwave 2 minutes, add milk and honey.
