Here's the fixed and road-ready Band Van. The wrecking-yard fender is a slightly different color but we didn't feel like having it painted, we're not real vain about a utility vehicle.
Over the years and miles the old van had a pretty beat-up interior, especially where heavy equipment was slid or rolled over the fixtures that held the removable back seats. Don cut an old piece of 1/4" plywood to fit and covered it with a scrap piece of carpet.
Then he slid it in place. It keeps the equipment from rolling around and protects the floor.
Our Band-In-A-Box. It's hard to believe that I got a van for just a little more money than the cost of a used 4x6 trailer that I found on Craigslist. The mechanic told us we have a really nice vehicle that will last us for years.
