I went to my friend Elizabeth's where she fed me a fabulous salad and provided me with a candle to light at both ends. You know how apropos that is! When I mentioned a tiara might be just the thing she gave me a choice of two. MY people know how to party!
Later she, Don and I went out to dinner at our favorite restaurant in Llano, La Hacienda de Jalisco. I tried Menudo for the first time and one bite convinced me I won't be repeating the experience. The Camarones en Salsa de Chipotle was heavenly.
What a lovely birthday!
