I like to photograph the painting I do before applying a varnish to avoid any glare. It works out well, but the in person the item looks much better as the colors deepen and the 3d effect is enhanced.

365 Project #321 First Goat Skull
I've just finished my first goat skull and it was an adventure indeed. I've wanted to do a serape blanket pattern, but in lighter colors as the horns are so dark. Hopefully, I achieved a nice balance here.
