365 Project #350 Oxblood Lilies

Years ago a friend gave me a few Oxblood Lilies (Rhodophiala bifida) , a bulb flower that has become naturalized in Texas. With the first fall rains, they shoot their flowers up first, and then put on foliage which stays green over the winter. Over time, they sat there under my trees, making more little bulbs. Now I have a nice bed of them, and they make my little heart go pitty-pat every time they bloom.
