365 Project #167 An Apple A Day

Perhaps a year or so ago I started slowly building good habits into my everyday routine. One of the easiest habits to acquire is that of eating an apple a day. I wanted all the nutrition and the most nutrition is right under the apple skin. Since most commercially grown apples are highly contaminated with pesticides, I choose organic apples.

According to many studies, like this one, the results aren't terribly conclusive, but one statistic stands out; the few people who eat an apple every day use fewer prescription drugs. I use none. Entirely anecdotal, I know, but it's a good healthy habit and apples taste great. It's a win!
